For these kinds of hills, a scooter with a motor rated at a minimum of 1000W is necessary, and even then, there can be struggles. Under typical conditions, the M10 can handle a maximum incline of 8.5 degrees, equivalent to a 15% incline rate, which is less than the manufacturer’s stated 15 degrees.

The Turboant M10 is a budget scooter that lacks traditional suspension components such as springs, swingarms, coils, or shocks, which are typically found on more expensive performance models. However, this is expected since the M10 is not designed for challenging riding.

It’s essential to keep in mind that the M10 is an affordable scooter, so it doesn’t require an extensive mode of shock absorption. But there’s no need to worry since the M10 comes equipped with 10-inch air-filled tires that are superior to solid tires that are common on scooters costing less than $500.

The Turboant M10 utilizes a hand-operated mechanical disc brake at the rear wheel, along with an electronic regenerative braking system. This type of braking system is standard for this class of scooter, as shown by similar models. 

Therefore, it’s not surprising that the M10’s braking performance is comparable to the average for its category, with a stopping distance of 4.9 meters from 15 mph. Comparing the M10 with similar scooters, you’ll find no significant differences in stopping power, so braking performance shouldn’t be a significant factor in your purchasing decision.

Charging Time

The Turboant M10’s charging port is conveniently located on the left side of the deck near the rear fender. After plugging it in, it only takes 5 hours for your scooter to be fully charged and ready to use again. You’ll know that the charging process is complete when the adapter’s indicator light turns from red to green.

It’s important to keep in mind that Turboant advises against charging your M10 in temperatures below 50°F to prevent any damage to the battery.


The Turboant M10 is a highly portable electric scooter that weighs less than 30 lbs. One of the main reasons for its portability is its folding stem. While the folding mechanism isn’t complicated, it’s intuitive and easy to use. It consists of a locking lever and a small plastic ring that hugs the base of the stem.

The motor has also been relocated to the rear wheel, providing a faster acceleration rate. However, the throttle has changed from a thumb to a finger operation, which some riders may not like. 

Unfortunately, the M10 does not come with a detachable battery pack like the X7 Pro, making maintenance, repair, or replacement difficult. The reflectors on the M10 are also not as well placed as they are almost like stickers slapped onto the frame.

Despite lacking traditional suspension, the Turboant M10 still provides a smooth ride thanks to its 10-inch air-filled tires that absorb shock from potholes and other road irregularities. However, the brake lever and dashboard buttons are not ideally positioned, and the buttons can only be used safely when the scooter is stopped. This means that adjusting the riding mode or turning on the lights can be a frustrating process that requires taking one hand off the handlebars.
